Burnt dryer pulled outside Dryer Fire

Be sure to clean your lint trap after each and every load that is dried in your dryer. This precaution can help you avoid a fire in your dryer and in turn save the lives of your loved ones.

After removing the lint, if there are any tough spots;

  1. Rinse the lint trap with water
  2. Apply a small amount of dish soup
  3. Brush gently to scrub clean
  4. Rinse thoroughly

With just a little effort put forth, you can save a little money as your dryer runs more efficiently. More importantly, you could be saving lives by avoiding a fire.

Other tips to aid in avoiding a fire in your dryer are;

  • Clean the outside vent
  • Clean vent hoses
  • Keep the machine clean
  • Keep the area around the dryer clutter free and clean
